Meet baby Aria
This sweet girl was brought to me by a fellow photographer friend Jennifer Lucia~ Owner of "Close to Home Photography". Sweet Aria was just 7 days NEW!!! And both her parents accompanied her :) It was so surreal do a job for another professional but I was truly happy that she enjoyed her images. It definitely makes you feel good about yourself in the work you're providing !!!

Baby Josiah
Here is a handsome little stud named Josiah I met with back in January. He was such a sweet boy to work with.
Funny little thing about this portrait here was finding out after mommy saw this picture that her grandparents had a little red convertible car back in 1970 when they got married. This was priceless and brought back so many memories <3 <3 <3
My adventures into Newborn Photography
Well for as long as I can remember even back into my high school years, I was lugging around disposable cameras. Always snapping pictures of anyone who would stand still long enough for me to do so. Then after I got married and had my 2 sons, the pictures came even more. But after having my daughter my passion for the art intensified. And my passion for capturing children called to me. I opened my business March of 2011. Primarily shooting Maternity, Newborns and young children. I also work with families and models on occasion. But my heart lies with my precious newborns. There is something so sweet and pure about a new life and being the first one to capture their innocence.
Now I didn't start out mastering my camera's ability or even have the knowledge of how it really worked. It was an epic fail a year ago. Here is where I started:

This was my very first newborn, a sweet baby girl named Abriana
I was happy her parents were so patient with me, I was still learning how to be comfortable around these precious little lives. And here's a timeline to show how far I've truly come...
Okay so yes, I have to admit these were bad !! I thought I was great but boy was I wrong. I needed to learn so much more. So I finally took the time to do just that. LEARN what it really means to be a photographer and have the skills to go along with it. And as I did, this is what I brought to the table:
Any Many, many more, but they deserve their own posts. Thank you all for taking your time to follow me on this exciting adventure. I have plenty more to show you so stick around !
